INDOOR ADULT LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 2009 USPTA Texas Adult League Indoor Team Championships will be held January 23-25, 2009 in Houston.

Teams will compete separately in men's and women's round robin team competition. We anticipate having 12 men's teams competing in 2 flights of 6, and 15 women's teams in 3 flights of 5.  A team must consist of a minimum of 16 players, 4 at each level of play from 3.0 through 4.5 based on 2008 Mid Year Ratings. Each team match in the state championships will consist of 8 lines of doubles, 2 from each level. There is no maximum to the number of players on a team's roster. The entry fee will be $30 per player listed on the roster paid by January 12 and $35 for added players.

Any USPTA pro may enter a team in their regional qualifying league or tournament. Local areas may "qualify" their players using a format best suited for their particular area. Winning teams from local playoffs will qualify for the State Championships. Please contact your area coordinator listed below for more information on your local qualifying event.
